•  How much does it cost for TSSC to come to our company to do kaizen activities?
  • TSSC management will first come to see the condition, then, decide who will work on the project. The fee will depend on the level of the TSSC person and what needs to be done.
• Can we pay for services by credit card?
  • Yes. Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.

• Is there a prerequisite for taking W2 courses ( Practical Problem Solving, Standardized Work, Material & Information Flow)?
  • No, but it is strongly recommended you take W1 (TPS Overview) so that you better understand the basic thinking behind the courses.
•  If I am a Toyota competitor, will TSSC support or train me?
  • At this time, TSSC does not support direct competitors.
• Our company has done many continuous improvement events, but we are not seeing real change. What is the best service for us?
  • TSSC workshops will help you understand the philosophy and tools that create kaizen. Please see the services link for course descriptions (and Shop Floor support may also be available).

  •  Small incremental improvements (pronounced: kie-zen)
•  Jidoka?
  • Principle of building quality into a system so that workers are used to add value (pronounced: jih-doe-ka)

  • Just in time - delivering only what is needed, when it is needed, and in the quantity needed

  • To learn from and transfer thinking to other areas
